Jullie familie vereeuwigd in 3D kunst

Misschien ken je onze gepersonaliseerde akoestische portretten al. Portretten die we met de hand tekenen vanaf een foto, speciaal voor jullie gemaakt.

Maar we kregen steeds vaker dezelfde vraag:
“Maken jullie ook portretkunst in jullie eigen stijl? In 3D?”

Daar zijn we mee aan de slag gegaan. Niet om een letterlijk portret te maken, maar om iets te ontwerpen dat écht Pieces of Art is. Minimalistisch, organisch en open voor verbeelding. Kunst waarin je vormen ziet, beweging ontdekt en waarin langzaam een gezin verschijnt.

De figuren in dit kunstwerk zijn volledig door ons ontworpen. Geen standaard silhouettes, maar een eigen vormentaal waarin mensen elkaar raken, ondersteunen en samen één geheel vormen. Soms zie je het meteen. Soms pas na een paar seconden. En juist dat maakt dit werk zo bijzonder.

Dit 3D familieportret wordt opgebouwd op basis van jullie gezinssamenstelling. Jullie kiezen eenvoudig hoeveel kinderen er in het kunstwerk komen en in welke levensfase ze ongeveer zitten. De lengtes zijn een indicatie zodat jullie gezin herkenbaar wordt weergegeven in het kunstwerk. De volgorde en positie van de kinderen wordt door ons bepaald op basis van lengte, zodat het geheel het mooiste tot zijn recht komt.

Elk kunstwerk wordt dus speciaal opgebouwd op basis van jullie gezin. Daardoor ontstaat er geen standaard compositie, maar een familieportret dat uniek voelt en perfect in balans is.

Zoals al onze kunstwerken heeft ook dit ontwerp een akoestische functie. De materialen helpen om galm te verminderen en zorgen voor een rustiger geluid in huis. Zo combineert het kunstwerk esthetiek met comfort.

Het resultaat is een minimalistisch en tijdloos kunstwerk dat niet alleen mooi staat in je interieur, maar ook een persoonlijk verhaal vertelt. Voor de één is het een stel, voor de ander een gezin, een familie of een groep mensen die bij elkaar horen.

Het afgebeelde kunstwerk bevat de kleur Marble met een Walnut lijstkleur en het andere kunstwerk bevat de kleur Ivory met een Earthy Beige lijstkleur.

Acoustics
Because the material has an open structure, it absorbs sound well. This also contributes to better acoustics!

Sustainable and recyclable
The materials used to make the artworks are recycled plastic bottles, requiring no new raw materials. After its life as a work of art, it can even be recycled again and given a new purpose. This way, the material remains usable for a very long time. A Piece of Art doesn't stop with just the material. Packaging is also important to us. We carefully check whether the materials we use are made from renewable resources, are partially or fully recyclable, so that the artwork has a minimal impact on the planet or is amply compensated. Beautiful, isn't it?

Colourfast and wear-resistant
During the production process, dye is added to the material. This allows the colors to penetrate deep into the fibers, creating an evenly distributed color that is consistent throughout. This prevents color variations with wear. The material is also UV-stabilized, meaning it will not fade easily when exposed to direct sunlight.

Maintenance-free
Because the pieces are made from recycled bottles and therefore plastic, they don't attract mold, bacteria, or vermin. Moisture is detrimental to the product and causes it to wear out faster. Flame retardant
The material has a B1 fire safety certificate. This is the standard in Europe. This means you don't have to worry about fire safety. This also makes it suitable for use in public spaces.

No harmful substances
A big advantage is the artwork's high cuddliness. You can pet or cuddle them without any problems, because the material doesn't release any harmful particles. However, too much petting or cuddling can cause the artwork to get dirty, so keep that in mind ;).

To colour

Are you unsure about the color or color combination? Below we have briefly described the colors so that you can make the right choice!

Ivory
Ivory is a soft, white colour that is best compared to off-white. This colour is easy to combine with other colours and, due to its light and neutral appearance, it looks good in interiors with light elements. Think of interior styles: Scandinavian, minimalist, Japandi, bohemian (rattan), Mediterranean, but also shabby chic, rural and romantic. Do you want a light addition to your interior? Then you are completely right with your Piece of Art in the colour Ivory. In terms of combinations, it works well with the colour Earthy Beige, but in combination with a black frame you get a tough look that beautifully outlines the work.

Earthy Beige
Earthy Beige is a sand color with a soft, warm and accessible look. It carries the undertones yellow, white and brown. This color will give your space a neutral and calm touch. This color is easy to mix with other similar colors, both with light colors and with dark colors. Also think of ton-sur-ton (tone-on-tone), for which this color and this art lend themselves very well! Your Piece of Art in the color Earthy Beige will quickly fit into many interiors, but if you were to include interior styles, this color would look perfect in a minimalist, Japandi, wabi sabi, oriental, bohemian, botanical and Scandinavian interior. In the Pieces of Art collection, Earthy Beige is the most used color and is often combined with the color Ivory as a work of art.

Beige
The color Beige is a soft, neutral and accessible color. The color can easily be combined with other colors, such as brown and white. The color is lighter than Earthy Beige and can be combined as artwork with the color Walnut and the color Deep Black. With these two colors you combine earth tones in an artwork, which looks good in a Japandi interior. But also in a minimalist, wabi sabi, oriental, bohemian, botanical and Scandinavian interior.

Walnut
The color Walnut is a warm brown color that is very similar to walnut wood and is used as a frame. Walnut has various colors as a base, including red, green and blue. The color goes well with the colors Ivory and Beige. Combined with these colors it creates a calm whole where the warm color gives the artwork all the attention. Walnut can be used well in a Japandi interior, but also feels good in a botanical, vintage, cool Scandinavian, cool minimalist, bohemian, retro and industrial interior.

Deep Black
As the name suggests, this tough colour is black. Combined with lighter colours, you can make it a bit calmer or add accents. With a black frame around the artwork, you frame the work, making it stand out more. Interior styles in which the colour deep black blends beautifully are, for example: botanical, vintage, tough Scandinavian, tough minimalistic, bohemian, retro and industrial.

P o p o f c o l o r
The colours from the pop of colour line are real eye-catchers and vary from bright (Sunny Yellow, Pure Green and Carrot Orange to the beautiful and soft colour Cherry Pink. In addition to these colours there are Ocean Blue and Forest Green. These colours are deep blue and deep green and give the artwork a subtle class and give the artwork a generous appearance.

All works are made with care after ordering. The delivery time of the works is 3-4 weeks after the order is placed. As soon as the work is ready to ship, you will receive a message from us when you can expect it.

Pieces of Art artworks are handmade and are assembled per order. If you are not satisfied, you can return the artworks. The costs for returning are €50. You can submit your return notification up to 14 days after receiving your order. You will then receive further instructions from us for handling your return. After receiving the return, you will receive a message within 2-3 days and we will refund the purchase amount to your account.
