Welcome to Pieces of Art!

We are Anna and Marco, parents of three beautiful children. In 2019 we welcomed our first, followed by twins in 2021. With the arrival of the twins we decided to tackle our home. Three new rooms had to be furnished for the boys, which meant we moved to the attic. There we created a spacious work and bedroom, in earthy natural tones and with natural materials. Finding the right art to finish this space was a challenge. We decided to take matters into our own hands and after some research we found felt as our ideal material, because of its beautiful properties.

Felt, made from 60% recycled PET bottles, is not only sustainable, but also dampens sound. It is fireproof, colourfast and wear-resistant, and has a beautiful appearance. However, felt was often used in a way that we did not like. That is why we tried to shape it in such a way that it became both beautiful and stylish, but with the most ideal material. This is how Pieces of Art came into being: a combination of function, form, acoustics and sustainability.

As parents, we feel a responsibility to take care of our planet. That is why we wanted to develop art that was not only sustainable, but also had a natural look. The result? A unique concept where art and sustainability come together.

By joining forces, we founded Pieces of Art. For us, it is more than just a company; it is a way to find happiness in what we do and to make others happy with our creations. Thanks to our extensive knowledge of the market and the possibilities that different materials offer, we can realize works of art that leave a lasting impression.

Our slogan, 'The art of imagination', was born from the belief that everyone can lose themselves in art. The abstract lines of our artwork can represent a landscape, a feeling, a sun, a cloud or a beach. Just like our logo, which is an abstract shape in which you can see different interpretations. Our artworks are meant to stimulate the imagination and let people wander in their own thoughts for years.

We believe that our work should have an impact. That is why we donate 1% of our turnover to the Ronald McDonalds children's fund . As parents, we know how important a home is, especially when a child is sick. That is why we are happy to contribute to this great initiative.
